Craft this afghan, sweater, and hat with Mary Maxim DK/Sport Weight yarn and this digital download pattern.  Originally knit with Mary Maxim's Baby's Best and Baby Soft Marled yarn in 2009. Both offered 160 yds per skein at that time. Shop our current selections of sport weight yarns, but please be aware that color options and yardage have changed. Completed, the afghan is approx. 36 x 38" (91.5 x 96.5 cm), sweater size 6-12 months. Requires a size U.S. G-6 (4 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. 

Stitch requirements. Chain, double crochet, slip stitch, increase, decrease, repeat, double crochet two together.
